2024 Food Drive

Staten Island, Weds, Dec. 11th | New Jersey, Thurs, Dec. 12th

This time of year is a welcome season for most of us. A time filled with friends, family, and all of the special foods that bring back cherished holiday memories from our childhood. However, some of our neighbors could use a little extra help. For some, this is a season filled with stress and added anxiety.

So, let’s do our best to make sure everyone in our community can experience the warmth of the season and create some new holiday memories of their own by sharing what we have with each other.

Later this month we’ll be offering a pick-up service for those able to donate food in both Staten Island and the communities we serve in New Jersey (Union, Middlesex, and Monmouth counties). Donations will go to Project Hospitality, a not-for-profit organization, who serves the needs of the poor, hungry and homeless residents of Staten Island and The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), a member of Feeding America®, the leading anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization in New Jersey.

How to participate

  1. Email us at connect@bbsidingandroofing.com that you’ll be participating in the food drive by Tues, Dec 10th at 2 pm
    • Be sure to include your pick-up address.
  2. Items needed: canned, packaged and nonperishable foods — please no glass containers.
    • See below for a list of items that are in the greatest demand.
  3. On the morning of the pickup (Staten Island, Weds, Dec. 11th, New Jersey, Thurs, Dec. 12th)
    • Before 7 am, leave your donation at your front door in a bag or box, labeled “For B&B Siding and Roofing.”
  4. We will pick up your donation between 7 am – 5 pm. You do not need to be home or interact directly with our team unless you choose to.

  • canned meats, fish and vegetables
  • canned or dried fruits
  • fruit or vegetable juices
  • pasta and tomato sauce
  • non-perishable milk
  • cereals and rice
  • canned or dried beans
  • peanut butter and jelly
  • coffee and tea
